I was born in Chicago, Illinois, but in my childhood I grew up about fifty miles northwest. At that time it was a very small town named Algonquin.

I was employed as a Tool & Die Maker for more then 37 years.

After relocating to Mesa Arizona, I was employed by small family owned company for 23 of those years.

In the fall of 2003 I decided to enroll with H & R Block in their first basic income tax course.

After passing their examination, I was employed as one of their Seasonal Tax Professionals.

I pursued continuing education in the off seasons throughout my seven years with H & R Block.

I instructed classes for basic returns and attended classes for other more advanced types of returns, schedules and forms.

I continued as a seasonal employee through the 2010 tax year.

I also continue to keep updated with the yearly IRS guidelines on required education retaining my RTRP status.
